bio-based material research

in the fall of 2023 I took a sabbatical from my design and fabrication work to study at the University of Edinburgh, in the School of Design. the program was Design for Change and it was during the dissertation project that I discovered my love for biomaterials. this topic completely captured my attention and led to the pursuit of a PhD in Design with a focus on biomaterial decomposition. more will be added to this page as my research progresses, but for now, click through to look at my initial work during the 2024 MA dissertation or my ongoing PhD research.
